Why this all started.....

As this year comes to an end, I was reflecting on the last 10 months and I realised this year has been quite a hard year for many of my friends. Friends who are currently serving and others who are not, friends of mine who are close by and friends that are just too far away for me to actually be there for. I'm mean, some of these friends are REALLY struggling and I don't want to go into detail but this year has been HARD for them and their family.

In my own way I have felt helpless as to what I can do. I can physically be there for some but not for others, I can call these friends at any time but as to whether they 'talk' to me I cannot make them nor be sure I'm hearing the truth; and then to think there are so many other men & women going through the their own personal issues just made me consider how wide spread of a concern this is and for so many families.

That's when I thought I would really love to do something to help; to help as many people as possible. Although I know I can't personally help everyone, I felt I knew the right charity to do so. Legacy Australia.

Legacy is a charity providing services to Australian families suffering after the injury or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. Our support and services now extend to include the dependants of members of today's Australian Defence Force who lose their lives or their health as a result of their military service.”

With my thoughts and emotions running wild I could see this was building into something, so I sat down with my wife and told her about this concept of helping Legacy Australia. It was a question of what to do and how to do it. Together, in the space of three days, we came up with the goal of raising $50,000 for Legacy purely because we thought it was a big, yet achievable figure along with an idea on how to achieve it. So we decided to just go for it!

Within one week we had the Tactical Stubby Coolers website up and running with the goal of $50,000 for Legacy Australia to be taken on! For every stubby cooler sold, $5 goes to Legacy Australia, we are aiming to sell 10,000 stubby coolers!

We are just a husband (veteran) and wife team with a goal and determination to achieve it. We are only seven days into this venture and the response has been amazing, so we thank you all.

If you would like to contact us with any ideas, suggestions or bulk orders, please email tacticalstubbycoolers@outlook.com and we will respond ASAP.
